Spoiler: it all started in a Bordeaux apartment with lots of flowers and a touch of craziness.
Where does Lorred come from?
In May 2019, Nadéjda decided to make something with her own hands. Not just knitting a sweater (though the idea was considered). No — she started embedding real flowers in epoxy resin to create jewelry. Lorred was born in Bordeaux, between a flowery balcony and a table covered with silicone molds. When Gaëtan joined the adventure — and their shared life — Lorred moved with them to Saint-Loubès. Today, Lorred is Nadéjda and Gaëtan. 💛
What we do (and why we love it)
We create handmade jewelry from dried flowers and bio-based epoxy resin, entirely handcrafted. Forget-me-nots, heather, lobelia… we cultivate a good portion of our flowers ourselves, on our balcony. Yes, we're a little obsessed. Yes, we own it.
Each piece is customizable: flowers, colors, shapes. Because jewelry that reflects you is much nicer than jewelry that looks like everyone else's.
2023: The flowers deserved better 🌱
Initially, we worked with classic epoxy resin. It worked well — but something bothered us. We spend our days working with flowers, cultivating, picking, preserving nature… it made sense to be consistent all the way through. In 2023, we made the choice to switch to bio-based epoxy resin. Because flowers deserve better. And so does the planet.
What exactly is it? A resin where a portion of petroleum components is replaced by plant-based materials — flax, rapeseed oils, agricultural residues. Not "100% natural" (that would be greenwashing), but a genuinely intelligent compromise: the jewelry remains crystal clear, solid, stable over time, and its carbon footprint is reduced. Luxury and ecological awareness, without having to choose.
A meaningful gift
Our jewelry is designed for moments that matter: birthdays, Mother's Day, Christmas, weddings… or just because you want to give a gift for no reason. (Those are often the best gifts, by the way.)
Each flower carries a meaning. The forget-me-not says "don't forget me". Heather speaks of the strength of love. Lobelia encourages us to see the bright side of things. We choose each species with intention — not just because it's pretty (though it is).

Our Journey Since 2019 ✨
Lorred came to life in Bordeaux. First flowers, first resin, first pieces. The beginning of everything.
Gaëtan joins the adventure. First summer night markets — warm evenings, lights, first encounters with customers. An energy we won't forget.
Summer markets in Les Landes, new horizons. And at the end of the year, the very first Christmas market — lights, warm wood, botanical jewelry under the stars.
First medieval festival for Lorred. Costumes, timeless atmosphere, and our botanical jewelry felt surprisingly at home there.
First tattoo convention — an unexpected universe, a pleasant surprise. And behind the scenes, a real turning point: we switch to bio-based epoxy resin. Because flowers deserve better. And so does the planet.
First men's jewelry collection. Because nature and self-care are for everyone.
We're taking a new step: pop-up creator shops. Our own space, for a weekend. We love it.
We don't know exactly what the future holds for us yet — and that's kind of what we love most about this adventure.
